Is DEAC accreditation recognized in Europe?

Currently, the federal recognition process is largely driven by the National Institutional Quality and Integrity Advisory Committee (NACIQI). NACIQI advises the United States Secretary of Education on whether accreditation standards are sufficiently rigorous and effective to ensure that a recognized accreditor is a trusted authority on the quality of education provided by accredited institutions. In 2017, NACIQI recommended to the Minister of Education that DEAC be recognized by 2022. Europe is not among this recognition.
